It’s important to be familiar with the coverage’s outlined in your policy.
When comparing policies make sure that you are comparing coverage’s, not all policies are created equal!

After you find the policy that best fits your needs, it should
then be reviewed annually as your needs and the market change.

Some common terms that may be used in your policy are:

Dwelling pays for damage to your house.

Other Structures- pays for any outbuildings, detached garages, and sheds that are covered under your policy and damaged by a covered cause.

Personal Property- pays for damage to your personal belongings, household items, furniture, clothing, and appliances that are damaged, stolen or    destroyed.

Liability- protects you from loss if you are found legally responsible for someone else’s injury or property damage.
Medical Payments- pays medical expenses for someone who does not live in your household who becomes injured on your property.
Loss of use- pays living expenses if you are not able to live in your home.

 * Please note that these are general descriptions, and do not imply coverage for your policy as your policy may or may not reflect these types of coverages.
